boat 05:56
This will be my last night here. In the morning I'll dip my feet in the water, take a deep breath, and sail towards the sun. The wind and the waves shall be my companions. And I'll reach the shore by dusk, by dusk. With my talking bird in the backseat, causing a ruckus, I can't make any progress, so I kick him out. He flys away with the wind, and I know I've sinned, so I take a swim and I wash my mouth. But I guard my heart from the salt that cleans, that cleans. I guard my heart from the God I can't see, can't see. The more I throw overboard, the faster I can travel. I throw away a shirt and an anchor unravels, but I still haven't moved that God-damned gavel, and it's a weight that's heavier than a thousand pairs of shoes, of shoes. The clouds above are moving faster than me, out of reach, going on for eternity. I feel the wind, but it's stirring up the sea, and I can't see where it's taking me. When I made up my mind and my heart along with that, to live not for myself, but yet for God, somebody said, Do you know what you are getting yourself into? When I finally ironed out all of my priorities and asked God to remove the doubt that makes me so unsure of these things I ask myself, I asked myself Do you know what you are getting yourself into? I've been a liar and a hypocrite to boot. So filthy, so damn filthy, but you made me new. I never knew that I could know something so true, You say, I love you and that's what you are getting yourself into. He loves you and that's what you are getting yourself into.

campfire 06:04
One of these days I'll sleep beside a fire under the stars. One of these days a rock under my head won't seem so hard. One of these days I'll finally see just how beautiful you are. One of these days I'll learn to follow Him within my heart. One of these days I'll learn to paint with my fingers. One of these days I won't mind if I get paint on my fingers. One of these days I'll sing to you and make another singer. One of these days I'll sing to you a song that lingers. One of these days I'll rise and fall with the sun. One of these days I'll wake up with your name on my tongue. One of these days I'll get back to where I started from. One of these days I'll take her hand and see how it feels to run. One of these days I'll seek the truth and nothing else. One of these days I'll smell my shit and graciously accept your help. One of these days I'll see how much you love me and melt. One of these days I'll be with you and be myself. Be my guide, God of Abraham, lead me by your hand, you are strong and wise. I want to trust in you, and in all I do, bring you honour and praise. Be my guide, in the dark of night, set all fear to flight, you are hope and truth. I want to trust in you, and in all I do, bring you honour and praise. Be my guide for the road ahead, and should I feel mislead, you are just and good. I want to trust in you, and in all I do, bring you honour and praise. One of these days, I'll trust in you and bring you honour and praise. How I love you! Oh my God, oh my love. You are true. I need you. How he loves me! Through the bear and the bees and the honey in the tree. Oh, it's so sweet! And I'll keep looking, I'll keep looking, until the day we meet.

The water is dancing and singing for me, with a steady groove and a soothing voice, you travel across the sea. It's been a little while, but I've got a lot of peace. Our love is in the waves, and they're the waves that we both see. I'm in a lover's ocean, I'm in a lover's sea. I'm on a lover's island, for you are here with me. The wind is blowing, and the sand warms my feet; together bringing hugs and kisses straight from you to me. It's been a little while, but I've got a lot of peace. Our love is in the air, and it's the air that we both breathe. I'm on a lover's mountain, I'm on a lover's beach. I'm on a lover's island, for you are here with me. The cows are eating grass beside the humans and the sheep. The calm, the green, the harmony: I feel you next to me. It's been a little while, but I've got a lot of peace. Our love is in His love, and it's the love that forever will be. I'm in a lover's field, I feel a lover's breeze. I'm on a lover's island, for you are here with me. I'm looking out a lonesome window while sitting on a lonesome train. I'm just a lonesome lover waiting to be home with his lover again.

river song 04:37
We're sitting on whatever we can lift. We're throwing in whatever we know we'll never miss, like that old picnic table reduced to a pile of wooden boards and that rocking chair that couldn't move anywhere anymore. Peaceful minds and flickering eyes. We've got a lot of problems but now they're pushed aside down the black, flowing path with the sticks, with the sticks and the stones to the black, floating mass at the end, at the end of the road. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good ol' way, then who shall wear the starry crown? Good Lord, show me the way. Oh sisters, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Oh sisters, let's go down, down in the river to pray. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good ol' way, then who shall wear the robe and crown? Good Lord, show me the way. Oh brothers, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Oh brothers, let's go down, down in the river to pray. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good ol' way, then who shall wear the starry crown? Good Lord, show me the way. Oh fathers, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Oh fathers, let's go down, down in the river to pray. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good ol' way, then who shall wear the robe and crown? Good Lord, show me the way. Oh mothers, let's go down. Come on down, don't you wanna go down? Come on mothers, let's go down. down in the river to pray. Mmmmm. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good ol' way, then who shall wear the starry crown? Good Lord, show me the way. Oh sinners, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Oh sinners, let's go down, down in the river to pray. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good ol' way, then who shall wear the robe and crown? Good Lord, show me the way.
